How to help Us

Help to train a guide dog.

The Foundation Labrador - Pies Przewodnik is the only non-governmental organization in Poland training guide dogs to be handed over free to blind users. As of March 19th, 2004 the Foundation has the status of an organization for public advantage ( http://opp.ms.gov.pl, www.ngo.pl ), which means that everybody who wants to support our activities may donate 1% of his taxes for the last year to the Foundation.

Taxpayers of PIT-36 and PIT-37 can reduce their taxes, provided that they:

  • have a receipt for the payment to the bank account of an organization for public advantage, showing the name and address of the payee, the amount paid and the name of the organization to be the recipient,
  • the payment was not deducted from the income on the basis of art 26, sec. 1, p. 9 of the act on income tax from individuals nor from the income or tax on the basis of the regulations of the act on lump sum income tax.

The amount of deduction is to be brought down to full tenth of grosze.

The money shall be paid at the post office or in a bank to the Foundation’s bank account:

Kalendarz 2007 Labrador retriever 2007 is the 4th edition of the Calendar-share published by the The Labrador-Guide Dog Foundation in aid to the Blind, seated in Poznań.

Because the Foundation planned to participate in the International Guide Dog Federation’s Seminar in New York 2006 and in the big Kynological event in Poland – specially in Poznań – the World Dog Show 2006, and the Calendar 2007 had to be offered and distributed then, we decided to provide this Calendar with a new marketing feature, the bilingual edition. In the part dedicated to the Foundation and containing photos of volunteers, instructors, trained guide dogs and their handlers, there were added pictures of the people who enable the existence of the Foundation, as well as the publication of this calendar.

The Board of the Foundation would like to express special thanks to the authors of photos: Waldemar Dąbrowski, Wojciech Karolak, Ewelina Marczak, Małgorzata Osuch, Tomasz Bieliński, Monika Osińska and Remigiusz Oprządka. The total income from the Calendars sale will be assigned to our statutory goal, training guide dogs of Labrador retriever breed and giving them free to blind users.. As in the previous years, the Calendar was created by the unselflish help of lovers of the breed, who donated the taken by them photos to the Foundation.

Kalendarz 2006 As in previous years, the Foundation published the Calendar Labrador Retriever for the year 2006. The total income of Calendars sale was assigned to our statutory goal, to train guide dogs for the blind. Publication of the Calendar was possible thanks to the unselfishness of the breed lovers.

That year we welcomed Waldek Dabrowski in the group of our photographers (Małgorzata Osuch, Monika Osińska, Remigiusz Oprządek, Wojtek Karolak, Radosław Marczak, Tomasz Bieliński) Waldek Dąbrowski, and his photos were also used for the postcard and pocket calendar.

The Foundation’s Board would like to express thanks to everybody, who in any way helped to create this Calendar.

Second edition of Calendar-share for 2005.

The total income of Calendars sale, as last year, was assigned to our statutory goal, to train guide dogs and give them free to blind and vision impaired users.

The Foundation’s Board and Council would like to express their thanks to the authors of photos, shown in the Calendar.
